About This Activity

Zapcat Experience Plus is the brand new Zapcat driving experience delivered by the best in the business- a personal introduction to powerboat racing by a top race pilot. This is a truly unique one on one instructor/pupil Zapcat driving lesson and race tuition experience, and is for anyone who has been on a Zapcat in the UK, wanted to drive a race class powerboat, considered entering the Zapcat or Thundercat race series, or just loves the thrill of going fast, on water. Learn more about these exhilarating machines in a day of controlled madness!

On arrival at the yard you will have a safety and theory briefing, before taking to the water. All equipment will be provided. This experience will include around two hours on the water in a Zapcat. In total the experience will last around three to four hours. Dry suits and boots are provided. Showers and changing facilities are available. Tuition is delivered by one of the top inflatable powerboat pilots in the UK. There will be a safety boat in attendance, and a dry suit is provided. Your session will be tailored to your needs; so for example, if you are racing in the future, that will be the focus.

Your voucher is valid for ten months. You are free to book a day for your experience using the details provided. The experience takes place on selected Saturdays and Sundays year-round. The session is with you and the instructor only. The supplier reserves the right to change booking dates and times. The supplier reserves the right to postpone/cancel sessions without notice in the event of poor weather, and cannot be held liable for costs incurred by the customer. The premises are shared with other marina users. Minimum age: 16 yrs; under 18s require parental consent. Maximum weight 127kg. Maximum height is 6'4”. Minimum height is 4'8” (Southampton). Not suitable if you are pregnant, have severe neck or back problems, or heart/ medical conditions. No experience necessary; non-swimmers must advise the instructor at their safety briefing. Spectators are unable to watch this experience.
