About This Activity

You'll take to the skies with an experienced CAA approved pilot for this flight of a lifetime!  Skimming past the clouds and watching the scenery below, the whole experience will take your breath away. This is the perfect opportunity to feel the exhilarating freedom offered by these superbly manoeuvrable machines. They might look scary, but they have become recognised as a stable, safe and pretty zippy form of travel! Guaranteed to be a lasting memory.

Upon arrival at the aerodrome you will be given a briefing on the principles of microlight flying. From there you are taken to the microlight for a general familiarisation of the vehicle and a run-through of the controls. After this it's up into the blue for the 30 minute flight of a lifetime! If the instructor feels confident that you are ready, you will even be able to take the controls and get the thrill of piloting the aircraft.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. You are free to contact the microlight school to book a flight using the details provided. Minimum age is 14 years old. No previous experience is necessary. Flight time will be 30 minutes depending on location and weather conditions. Maximum weight is around 14 stone. There is no maximum height. Flights are dependent on availability and are subject to the weather. It is recommended that you call on the date of your flight to check that it is safe to fly.
